Users can access winddata via a web site from a PC or a smartphone. Positioned close to the windward mark of a regatta course, the wind buoys bring relevant information for committees, coaches, racers, commentators…
Definition of the Functions:
– Providing Real Time Weather Conditions using Remote access to Web Server : Weather datalogging : Wind, Temperature
– Remote 3/4G Datalogging Upload toward Cloud Data Server
– Remote Wifi/3G/4G Weather Data download to mobile device
– Web Cam functionality can be added.
Principle of Scenario:

– Wind Buoy is positioned close to estimated up-wind mark
– Weather data remain displayed on shore to define best time for comitee to decide to go off shore and allow racers to best tune their rigs
– While racing the data display allow decision settlement in terms of race strategy
