24 Sep Strong presence of LCJ Capteurs at Cannes Boat Show: Outremer Yachts, Sunseeker, Solene, Couach, Furuno France…
Ultrasonic Wind Sensors are more and more used on yachts, should they be motor boats or sail boats.
The CV7-C-RM, dedicated to rotating masts, was launched in spring 2013 and Outremer has already fitted some on their 50 footer catamarans.
The installations were performed by the Pochon Electronique well-known team. They have installed a potentiometer with sheaves and a rope loop for mast angle feed-back. The data is used for wind angle calculation and for the Furuno radar lubber line.
On the motor yachts side, visitor watching on top of the boats could notice several Sunseeker yachts featuring the LCJ Capteurs CV3F. This sensor is a classic on workboats and we are delighted to see it coming on the leisure boats market.
Furuno France had a stand as every year where an OEM range of our sensors were displayed under the RO Wind (Radio Ocean) brand. “This Ultrasonic Wind Sensor attracts a growing population of users and installers and we are pleased to offer these sensors with our range of products.” said Didier Bureau, MD of Furuno France
